Bartenders Community
The Indian Flair Bartenders Association (IFBA) , a Government registered non-profit organization, which is an umbrella association for the bartending community. The origin of this remarkable organization dates back to 2019. A group of individuals with a common vision decided to have a round table to address the bar trade in India. They found ways to enhance this profession, add some flair & make bartending a “White Collar Job”. Their thoughts briefly sketched on a piece of paper became a blueprint of what is better known as “IFBA”.
Work Done So Far
The IFBA has set up an association website at http://indianflairbartendersassociation.com/ to help members reach to help via a ‘Click to Donate’ button and a call to help via a ‘Click for Help’ button. They have already resolved over 100+ cases of their community members with financial and non-financial help provided. The core team is working tirelessly to solve issues of its members.
The President of IFBA, Rohan Carvalho said, “IFBA India is committed to supporting individuals and families of hospitality professionals at this critical time in our country. As a non-profit organization, it was our duty to bridge the gap between them and our donors. On behalf of IFBA India, I would like to thank Jack Daniel’s and Brown-Forman for stepping up when it matters the most. This online initiative would help us make a huge difference to those in need and with this kind gesture it gives me and all of us at IFBA India a hope to succeed in the mission we have undertaken. I am humbled and would like to extend my gratitude for supporting this campaign.”
